Fees and Billing Fees and Billing: A fee retainer agreement is signed by the client prior to the commencement of any legal work by the law office. Thereafter, depending upon the type of fee retainer agreement entered into, clients will receive a monthly itemized bill which reflects all work preformed on their file including the attorney's time, paralegal's time, secretarial time, and all office costs for that month.
